Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust is releasing extra bloods
clinics into Central Lancashire – Greater Preston and Chorley
Greater Preston will have an extra clinic on a Saturday morning and Tuesday Evening at Preston Healthport.
These appointments will be by appointment only and can be booked by ringing any of the Greater Preston Blood Clinic telephone numbers below.
Chorley will have an extra clinic on a Sunday morning and a Monday Evening at Chorley Health Centre.
These appointments will be by appointment only and can only be booked by ringing the following number only - 01772 777430
Clinics will commence week beginning 10th January 2022.

Please telephone your local clinic to book an appointment to complete your blood test, as listed below.
Appointments at the hospital for bloods is now by appointment only.
- Appointments can be made at Royal Preston Hospital or Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital, operating Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.
- To book your appointment, please call 01257 247095 (alternatively you can also contact the service on 01257 247097 or 01772 523018).
- If you are attending Royal Preston Hospital for a routine blood-test, please arrive at the main entrance and turn right towards the ambulance desk; the clinic details will be sign posted from here.
- If you are attending Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital for a routine blood-test, please arrive at the front door of the Urgent Care Centre.
You should only attend one of these hospital clinics for a blood test if:
- your doctor has instructed you to do so, AND
- has supplied you with a blood form to bring with you to your appointment.
The blood form is a requirement for your appointment so please remember to bring it along. If you have not received a blood form, but have been instructed to attend a hospital clinic, please contact your GP practice directly before attending.
Please do not attend these clinics if you are experiencing symptoms of coronavirus.

Only the patient requiring the blood test should enter the clinic unless assistance is required by a carer or relative for the duration.
